HISTORY

Please note that anything marked with a ** is headcanon. I will use this sparingly and only when canon lacks details. Weaknesses are combined with Abilities for those looking to get a legup.

Se-rin sees her childhood as a failure. She didn't do especially well in school in spite of being well-spoken, possibly because of the very high standards of South Korea. Instead, she became a target because of her pretty face and was told she should rely on it instead while boys simultaneously assumed she should be easy.

At the age of 20, she began to model. At 22, she had her big break and began to work with Sung Lee-Hyun, the General Director of the Arik Enterprise. She was scouted and began to act as well as model before transiting over. At the same time, she fell in love with him and didn't waver in her affection. However, she also didn't confess until she was 23 after seeing him with a woman that seemed to have his interest. Instead of something straightforward, she pretends to consider a sex scene in an upcoming movie and asks him to teach her how to have sex. In spite of seeing through it, he agrees. The two have sex, taking Se-rin's virginity. Though she very much enjoys it, she hates herself for using her body when she knows she wants his love as well as his attention. Contrary to her daydreams, having him see her as a woman doesn't magically create a relationship.

Later, he visits her upon hearing she's sick, where they have sex yet again after she asks him to stay. A week later, they meet again, and Se-rin notes that Lee-Hyun is treating her coldly. She tries to work up the nerve to ask him about their relationship, but he continues to be cold and acts like nothing has changed, causing Se-rin to lose her nerve until they leave the restaurant. Here, she asks about the woman she'd originally seen him with, the event which prompted her move. After a small argument, the two once more have sex. Several times.

A few days later, the Director gets a call from Chief Kim regarding how well Se-rin and Kang Sin-Woo, her co-star looked in their shoot together, which is considered a success. Instead, he gets jealous. At this point, Se-rin is in Tokyo, shooting promotional shots. It seems that Sin-Woo does have a crush on Se-rin, though she doesn't immediately notice. During the shoot, Lee-Hyun hasn't called her a single time, leading her to decide to end things before he gets bored and tosses her aside.

Arriving back in Seoul, he calls Chief Kim and instructs him to bring Se-rin to his office. She agrees, planning to tell him it was over. When they meet, he says he missed her, but she doesn't think someone who missed her would go three days without contact. He informs her that he knows if he'd called, he'd hear her voice and go directly to Tokyo. Se-rin insists she couldn't keep sleeping with someone she isn't even dating. In response, Lee-Hyun says they should date.

What follows is a whirlwind of sex and romance. The two explore each other fully, and Se-rin is introduced to the world of sex in full, and the two even spend Christmas together. However, when Se-rin comes in to get a script during New Years, Chief Kim tells her the Director went to meet Kim Ju-Yeon, the woman Lee-Hyun had been set up with previously. She calls to ask him, but he says he's too busy to talk. After they hang up, Se-rin realizes they've never gone out to date. Though Lee-Hyun says it's because of her celebrity status, she also knows other celebrities date. This leads her to accept a drink invitation from Sin-Woo, who sees her crying in the parking lot. He asks if she's dating someone and it seems she's been dismissing his attempts to get with her. When she says she hasn't been, he asks her to seriously consider dating him. However, Lee-Hyun shows up, tells Sin-Woo to leave, and takes Se-rin back to his suite.

The two have another argument. Lee-Hyun is jealous, but Se-rin tells him he doesn't seem like he meant it when he said they could date at all. She confronts him about never saying he liked her and asks why she has to be the one to always be understanding. He asks if she really needed to hear the words, to which she replies that of course she wanted to hear them. Finally, he admits his love to her, they make up, and again have sex.

A year later, she wins some unnamed award and it shows that not only are they public, but they're happy and together.

Se-rin's looks and her personality aren't very compatible. For one, her high-class fashion and put-together appearance can come across as exclusive and unfriendly. Likewise, her looks and career might give the impression of confidence. Both assumptions would be false. While Se-rin isn't the most social of people, she's friendly to those she does speak with and has no qualms about going to wrap parties and drinking with the cast. The lack of a social circle comes more from reservation than a snobbish attitude. It seems she's either quiet by nature or has less than great experiences when trying to form relationships in the past.

This brings us to confidence: she doesn't have as much as one might assume. When told she's very pretty, she assures that it's the makeup, even though she looks just as pretty when her own house. Likewise, she doesn't have the confidence to confess to her crush of three years until it seems like he's might take interest in another woman. Even after, she berates herself for assuming it could lead to a relationship and holds no anger at him but herself for thinking they could be anything. Surely the other woman is better? This could possibly be because in spite of her looks bringing her advantages in life, it brought her trouble in her younger years. What should have been a strength was turned into a weakness, and Se-rin both seems to think her appearance is all she has while not thinking too highly of said appearance.

That isn't to say she's a complete pushover. While her heart belonged to him for so long, she did occasionally consider other options, seeming to want love. However, she was also true to her heart, which couldn't actually be torn from Lee-Hyun. It was only after he ignored her text while she was working that she stood up to him. While Se-rin did fold, it was after he agreed to be serious and honest in the relationship.

APPEARANCE

Se-rin has long, wavy black hair that extends along the length of her back. Her eyes are equally as dark and are on the larger side. The other notable feature about her face is the size of her limps, which are on the full side.

Her body is slender but curvaceous with full breasts and hips with a headcanon height of 5'4. For smut purposes, photos are included in the kink list but they are NSFW so please be warned.

Se-rin favors a feminine appearance and favors dresses. Even when at home, she's dressed in nice clothing. Her hair is always shown to be perfect and even without makeup, her appearance seems to be pretty. However, she always seems to be wearing makeup when going out.

Though she has professionals to do her hair and makeup on set, she also seems put together even when not working. As a model/actress, it's considered her job to look pretty.

What: Angst, hurt/comfort, dark, and recovery stories are among my favorite. I'm also open to fluff, slice of life, smut, gen, light-hearted, and most other genres. I like action enough to write fight scenes and for the occasional meme. I'd prefer crack to be limited, but I'm fine with comedic/fun threads.

Who: Canon, cross canon, LAs, OCs, etc are all welcome. Evil characters are just as welcome as nice, and there's no canon exclusion. Basically, if you're worried about tagging me, don't be. I'll work with you. The only exceptions are canon doubles.

As a rough example of what to expect if you interact with Se-rin: she'll be friendly in return to friendly characters. She's not the most social so approaching someone isn't impossible, but she's not as likely to just approach a stranger. Confrontation isn't her first choice so she'll try to walk away from creeps before getting serious if they push. If she's in love with someone, she's willing to forgive them pretty easily.

Where: Se-rin is taken from the manhwa "The Way to Confess". Keep in mind that it is an adult manga with nudity.

A note about AUs: She's easy enough to AU in a normal-ish world but doesn't have the personality for future-fantasy. I'd prefer she still be some kind of model/actress or the world's equivalent.

When: I'm very flexible with this.

Shipping: Pre-canon, assumed CR is important since she falls hard. I'm also good with AUing a scenario her heart finally gets broken for the last time and she's on the rebound/mend. When on memes, I'm assuming pre-canon for shipping purposes. Her persona is meant to be one of innocence so dating isn't something her company would love. She seems to be straight, but I'm not against a F/F scenario with someone willing to help her test her boundaries. It won't be her idea, however.

I'm down for anyone we see in canon.

For crosscanon, I'll try most things. If the character is evil, it'll be a dark!ship instead of fluffy, but I'm down for it.

Ha, not really. Most of my canons just usually have dark content, and I don't want to mess with the code. However, the story is an adult story that contains sex. Please keep that in mind if you decide to check it out.
